  • Springbok RG Snyman features on the Munster bench for Saturday’s URC final against the Stormers.
  • The 2019 World Cup winner missed their semi-final win over Leinster due to concussion.
  • Scrumhalf Conor Murray, centre Malakai Fekitoa and winger Calvin Nash are also back in the Munster starting XV.

Fit-again Springbok lock RG Snyman has been named on Munster’s bench for Saturday’s URC Grand Final against the Stormers in Cape Town.

Snyman, 28, has recovered from concussion to take his spot in the final, with former Stormers lock Jean Kleyn and Tadhg Beirne the two starting locks for Munster.

Elsewhere, Munster coach Graham Rowntree made three personnel changes and one positional switch to the side that beat Leinster 16-15 away from home in the semi-finals.

Scrumhalf Conor Murray, centre Malakai Fekitoa and winger Calvin Nash all return after completing their return to play protocols following the 14-5 quarter-final win against Glasgow.

Murray and Jack Crowley form the halfback combination as Crowley moves from inside centre to flyhalf.

Fekitoa resumes his midfield partnership with Antoine Frisch as Nash joins fullback Mike Haley and Shane Daly to start in the back three.

The Munster pack is unchanged, with captain Peter O’Mahony joined by John Hodnett and Gavin Coombes in the loose trio.

Jeremy Loughman, Diarmuid Barron and Stephen Archer pack down in the front row.

Saturday’s clash at Cape Town Stadium kicks off at 18:30.
