Former Survivor SA contestant and TV personality Steffi Brink is excitedly anticipating the arrival of her first child with husband and actor Clint Brink.
The couple announced they were expecting their first child together in September. They later shared they were expecting a baby girl in November.
“I am excited about the next chapter in our lives. We have prayed and waited on the Lord for this bundle of joy. A true miracle, to say the least.”
In an Instagram post dedicated to Clint, Steffi added she was grateful to God for the husband and friend she found in him. She said they got to grow, make mistakes and win together.
The pair tied the knot in 2016 after dating for three months and being engaged for one.
“The past 6 years, 9 months, 1 week and a day with you have been nothing short of magical,” she wrote on social media. “I’ve always been a ‘fairytale and checklist’ type of person, and one thing you taught me over the years is that fairytales don’t exist. What is more important is that it’s real. No facades, no pretenses, just being REAL! The only thing that matters is the authenticity between two people who choose to be together through the hard and tough times.”
Steffi continued to say that love was an endurance race where you sometimes face downhills and uphills, adding that it was the journey that mattered most, not the destination.
“Thank you, Lord, for another chance at life, at love. Thank you for reintroducing LOVE to us daily, she continued. “We choose to grow and cherish the miracle you grant us daily. Your grace, mercy and love is sufficient. We lack nothing. Our cups runneth over, and we are destined to serve Your Kingdom. May we spread love and light, and may we give hope and grace”.
